I consider myself a Jack of all trades, master of none. I have done quite a few different jobs, from housekeeper, to daycare provider. But one of my other favorites has been as a in-home caregiver for the elderly. I recently finished my nurses aid certification training, and work in an assisted living facility. Life can be a lot of work, but it is what you make it!
How I got my name...
For the most part I have always been a pretty upbeat person, sometimes to the annoyance of friends. And while with a name like Heather that can't really be shortened, I had a friend start to call me Hezzer, which was then shortened to Hez. Then a dear friend of mine was coming up with alliteration names for us, and Hopeful Hez just sorta stuck.
My blog is my journy in words. Some days there are more words than others. I'm also an advocate and sponsor with Compassion International, and I love sharing about my kids! Please join me for my adventure, for I know God has great plans instore!
